The AI4Kids Program
Over six weeks, kids ages 8 to 12 use AI to explore STEAM and go from AI users to AI creators, building a real project they are proud of.
What students learn
Real AI and computing skills, introduced gently and always through making something.
AI literacy
How AI uses data, patterns, prompts, and instructions to make outputs.
Coding with Scratch
Build animations and games with friendly block-based coding.
Prompting & patterns
How to ask AI well, and how patterns and data shape its answers.
Algorithms
The step-by-step logic behind smart decisions.
Python
Real coding basics, introduced gently when a project calls for it.
Responsible & fair AI
Checking AI for accuracy and fairness, and thinking about who it represents.
A head start in the technology shaping their world.
We built the AI4Kids program to do more than keep kids busy. Three things set it apart.
Responsible by design
Kids learn to question and check AI, never to follow it blindly.
Learning by building
Every idea ends in a real project a child made themselves.
Open to every child
Kept free, so a family's income never decides who takes part.
What our students built.
These are real projects the kids created during the program, coding games, designing apps, and researching the science behind it all.

Starship Landing Game
A physics game where you fire the thrusters to land a rocket safely, with real gravity and momentum coded in Scratch.

Soccer Game
A two-team soccer match with AI players that chase the ball, defend, and score, coded block by block.

Virtual Home Sim
An interactive home where you keep your character's energy, happiness, and cleanliness up, built with AI-assisted design and code.

BuddyFinder
A friendly matching app that asks a few questions and pairs kids with a buddy who shares their interests.

Vibe Check
A mood app that plays music to match how you're feeling, pick a vibe and it sets the soundtrack.

Space Explorer
A Scratch space game where you pilot a rocket to different planets and learn real facts about each one, like Mars and its blood-red, rust-covered surface.

The Science of Rockets
A researched presentation comparing real rockets from Falcon 9 to Saturn V, and the story of human spaceflight.
